So I'm noticing a theme on Mondays, and that is the lazy linktastic list. I seem to be too tired from the weekend to form a real, coherent post. Also, I usually go through my feeds on Monday so I am inspired to share the stuff I find. How do you feel about Mondays being official Lazy Linktastic List day, with capital letters and its own label? Lame or entertaining?
- The old school raver in me is laughing over this. A for real, curriculum based school for DJs. In my day, the DJ was exalted precisely because he (usually he, as female DJs were more rare) learned the craft in the basement, alone, toiling for hours without speaking. It created this self-made mystique that made the DJ so alluring, so mysterious. Learning how to mix and scratch in a school seems so plastic and commercial.
- "Do you want to be stuck in peanut butter retirement?" But, and I am serious about this, it is so hard for me to give up the take-out coffee.
- Here is a fantastic list of 37 online source for inspiration. Not matter your craft, you'll find something to get you going here. (via lifehack.org)
- Stephanie Congdon Barnes has posted some new photos in her Made by Hand Flickr set. This woman makes the most simple and unusual and beautiful stuffed little things. For reasons I can't put into words, she inspires me every single day.
